Tips for putting your pension administration on track in 2017
januari 2017

Dear employer,

You want to take good care of your employees, particularly where their pension is concerned. This newsletter contains a few tips to help you put your pension administration on track in 2017.

New salaries? Let us know!

Are the salaries in your organisation adjusted as per 1 January 2017? Inform us of the new salaries as soon as possible via the employer portal, so we can incorporate these adjustments in our February invoice. Did you join Aegon PPI as a new client on 1 January? If we have received your data before 31 January we will include your scheme in our administration as per 1 February. Your employees will receive their welcome letter in February.

Your first invoice in 2017

In our previous newsletter we explained that some of the rates and statutory amounts would be adjusted as of 1 January 2017. That is nothing new, of course, as that happens every year. The offset, for example, is adjusted annually.

The new rates and statutory amounts will be incorporated in your invoice for January 2017. You already received the invoice by post or e-mail. Let us know your preference via the employer portal. You can always view all invoices in your employer portal.

Please note: If you pay your invoice on time,  we will invest the contributions on time.

Direct debit - notify your bank

If you want to make sure your pension contributions are paid on time, use a direct debit. Go to the employer portal to arrange it.

Have you opted for direct debit? Then send us the signed Sepa authorisation form by post. You can download it from the employer portal.

Please note:  Make sure to notify your bank. Provide your bank with all of the data it needs to process the direct debit every month. Then you can rest assured we can collect the amount due without you having to actively pay it every month.

Scheme details for 2017

We informed you about the rates and statutory amounts for 2017 in our previous newsletter. The minimum allowed offset in 2017 is € 13,123 (2016: € 12,953). Does your offset deviate from the minimum allowed offset? Then it is indexed as per 1 January 2017 based on the AOW index / CAO wage index.

For all rates and statutory amounts, please read the ‘Scheme details’ document.

Scheme details (Dutch)

Please note:  These are the 2016 scheme details. We will publish the 2017 scheme details by the end of January.
