Dear consultant,
As you may have read in the June newsletter, we offer the new and improved pension subscription Flex to all new clients.
Of course we also want employers and employees, who already are clients, to enjoy these benefits at Aegon PPI. Therefore, the current pension subscription will be converted to the new pension subscription Flex for all PPI clients as of 1 November.
Obviously, we will inform you first. In this newsletter you find more information about how we convert PPI clients to the new pension subscription. At the end of July, we will inform employers about the new pension subscription.

Improvements and changes

|
A big advantage of the new pension subscription Flex is simplified invoicing. Employers experience difficulties with the current account and interest calculation. The current account and interest calculation will disappear with the new pension subscription. It means that an employer must ensure that the payment of contributions are made on time, because otherwise the pension will not be invested for participants. We want to make the transition to the new pension subscription as easy as possible for you and your clients. In order to do so, we need help from the employers and participants. For example, employers should authorize you as a consultant to the new employer’s portal. To ensure that you can guide your clients as well as possible in the transition, we have set up an action plan. In the action plan, you see what actions employers and participants will have to take.

| Tariffs and terms |

The pension subscription is renewed for PPI clients. The pension scheme and tariffs do not change in 2016. The pension regulation and administration agreement have been updated. You can find the new pension regulations and the renewed administration agreement on the renewed website www.aegonppi.nl.
The pension regulation changes as of 1 January 2017 with respect to the age determination. At this time, the age of an employee at the beginning of the year, determines the amount of the available premium for the entire year. As of 2017, these premiums will be adjusted in the month, in which the participant turns a year older, and according to the age-related graduated scale, has a right to a higher percentage. This system prevents unequal treatment among participants with a birthday at the beginning of the year or later in the year. As from 2017, the costs may (slightly ) increase, depending on the participants, due to the new age determination.
